We really appreciated the restoration work here - they’ve kept the heritage feel of the hotel intact without making it feel dated.
Despite being above a pub and right on a main road, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Great location for exploring North Sydney.
The common room and kitchen was a lovely surprise. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus that made mornings easy.

Comfortable upstairs rooms rooms in a cosy local pub hotel reminiscent of accomodation of an English Country Pub atmostphere.
A breakfast kitchen and lounge along with shared bathrooms make for rooms make for an interesting communal atmostphere with fellow travellers unlike large corporate hotels.
Fantastically located opposite a lovely local park and nearby shopping strips and restaurants of North Sydney of Crows Nest just a medium stroll away.

The room was on the smaller end but very very lovely. It was spotless and the bedding was nice and clean. Staff was very nice and friendly. Stayed for 5 nights, and if I’d ever come back to Sydney I’ll definitely stay here again.
