I had an excellent stay at Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas & Resort. The resort is beautifully designed and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere right by the sea—perfect for a getaway from the city.
The villas and rooms are modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful details that make the stay feel special. Everything was spotless, and the bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The surroundings are quiet and well maintained, creating a true resort experience.
The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Service throughout the resort was smooth and welcoming, from check-in to dining and daily assistance.
The facilities were excellent, including the pool, beachfront areas, and dining options. The overall ambiance is calm and upscale, making it ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking to relax by the ocean.
Overall, Mercure Rayong Lomtalay Villas & Resort delivers comfort, quality, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it and would happily return for another stay.

Note the 'Garden Wing' section is a lovely modern & newer part of this hotel. Room was very spacious with a great layout. Hotel is just across the road from beach. The 'Ocean Wing' section is in a completely separate location on the other side of road approx 500m away which you can use their facilities also but in my opinion it looked a bit dated & run down in the areas surrounding the pool.
The local town area is very quiet with not much to do within walking distance. It appears a more popular destination for local Thai families. The beach cleanliness was not up to the standard of many other resorts all over Thailand in my opinion.

Great place and very peacefull. First time in my life and many many travels, the sunbeds hasn’t been reserved for towels 👍👍👍
