    We just got back from South Padre . This was a last minute trip. I chose Sand Rose hotel due to it being on the beach and dog friendly. The room was clean and there was a restaurant in the hotel for quick bites. It's next to a popular bar called Clayton's. They play music throughout the day and draw a big crowd especially right now for Spring Break. So if you don't want to hear the music all day it may not be the best choice for you. My family and I would stay here again.

    Good hotel for what we paid. Good location and pretty quiet. Reasonably clean. Did find a tiny roach and facilities were ok. Beds were pretty hard but ok. You get what you pay for
