If you want stellar views and fantastic hospitality, the Milky Way Hotel completely lives up to its name. My room was spacious, super comfortable, and featured a massive terrace that was perfect for taking in the jaw-dropping scenery from literally every angle. The real MVP of the stay? The communal fridge stocked with complimentary wine and Chacha! The owner is incredibly welcoming and even went out of his way to invite me to sit down and join him for lunch. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay with phenomenal service and out-of-this-world views, this is the spot.

Apart from being a bit cold, everything else was fine. However, I asked the boss for a blanket, so it won't be too cold at night. The location is great. Unfortunately, the two days I visited were cloudy and I didn't get to see Mount Huangshan illuminated by the sun.

I'm so happy I took the time to minibus up to Kazbek—it's been a perfect place to get some work and writing done, walk and explore, and eat indian food! The bed and bathroom at Milky Way are more than comfortable.
