    Terrible Hospitality, Unbelievable Attitude, and Absolutely No Professionalism! One of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. The biggest problem with this place isn't even the property itself — it's the absolutely terrible attitude of the staff. Let's be clear: this is an old hotel that has undergone renovation, but the staff seem to have developed the attitude of people working at a five-star luxury property like ITC, without demonstrating even the most basic standards of hospitality. The arrogance, rudeness, and complete lack of professionalism are astonishing. The staff behave as though they're doing guests a favour simply by attending to them. There is a massive difference between offering premium hospitality and merely pretending to be a premium establishment. Unfortunately, this hotel seems to have mastered the latter. Renovating an old building doesn't automatically make it a luxury hotel, and having an attitude certainly doesn't make the service five-star. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, respected, and valued. If the staff cannot understand something that fundamental, perhaps the management should invest more in training its employees than in renovating the property. The building may have received a makeover, but the hospitality desperately needs one too. Extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic courtesy, professionalism, or respectful treatment. A hotel can renovate its walls, upgrade its furniture, and change its appearance — but none of that can compensate for staff who don't know how to treat guests.

    great hotel with a nice Cal feel. Room service is great, menu prices are great and food quality is great. I recommend baigan bhaja and chicken curry bengali style. Will be back!

    The place in terms of cleanliness and facilities is really average. You can notice it as soon as you enter the room. At the reception, I was told that they have given me a free upgrade on the room but it was the same as I booked. The room and especially the bathroom were really unclean with little to no facilities. Definitely not worth the amount they are charging for the rooms. The only good thing about my stay was the staff. They were incredibly kind, polite and helpful.
