This is our experience staying one night at the Holiday Suites in Blankenberge. Once you check into Holiday Suites they will call and ask if you need a towel. We decided to share a towel as they said it costs 8.50 Euro for one pack. We received another call later, asking for the payment of 2 packs. We asked for a reimbursement of one towel pack for their mistake. They apologized and told us they could only reimburse us through a voucher at their hotel. We said no, we want our money back as we don’t want to patronize their hotel again. Our stay here was disappointing also for the following reasons: 1) It was noisy 2) the employee who called us was rude 3) the bathroom had a bad odor 4) before you leave you have to sort the garbage and have the sheets at the door. 5) the shower head support bracket was broken

The property suited our needs perfectly. We had a 4 year old child, the space in the apartment and the features worked for us. It was clean, access was straight forward key codes. Hope to return in the future.

No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe.

The apartment was amazing. It was perfectly located and the view was perfect. The hallways of the building were not very clean and the elevators were frustrating at times. BUT the apartment was perfect! Make sure to pack your own towels and shower soaps, luckily we did. We will definitely stay here again!

The property is well situated near the beach and infrastructure. Rooms are split all around modern looking appartement building with direct access to the beach promenade. The customer service was very professional and helpful. Major disappointment was with the cleanliness. the apartments are not cleaned by the staff but by the previous clients only - the dust and sand on the floor was almost unbearable. Arriving for 1 night and soending 2 hours with cleaning is not part of the ideal vacation. Bed sheets were only put next to the blanket and pillow, we needed to make our beds ourselves. There is no soap, towels for extra pay (7.5 € instead of 5 € as advertised). The building is only modern-looking, the corridors and lifts are very old and slow working (one lift was not working, therefore it usually took 10+ minutes waiting for the lift. Overall, this place might only be bearable for long stays. The price-value ratio is very low.

We arrived late night and finding a place to park was very tough. Once we did we were pretty far from the building. The next mornong we moved the car closer...it wasn't too bad aftet that. The hallelway carpet looked very dirty, but the room wasn't too bad. It seemes likebthe room had been vacant for some time due to a handful if spiders we had to evict. The kitchen had everything you need to avoid eating out every day. We paid a little extra fir ocean view and it was worth every penny. Check-in process was different since there was no front desk, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all we had a good time... Maje sure you bring towels... Or you'll have to pay extra for them.

Really nice place, some still being done up though, workmen left materials lying near the lift. Room on 6th floor, city view and small balcony, construction work being carried out behind. Key from 3pm but try earlier. 10 am checkout was early. Lovely large bed but the waterproof mattress covers are squeaky when you turn in your sleep. Nice and quiet at night. 3 lifts out of 4 working but this was okay. Great kitchen facilities with coffee, tea making, electric hob and microwave / grill oven. And dishwasher! We didn't use anything, apart from kettle though as ate out. Spacious place but bathroom was very cramped! If you're large, you may have trouble squeezing through shower door and if you're bigger than 5'6, may bang your head on the huge hot water tank over the toilet! Sheets were supplied but seemed to be covered in tiny dog hairs, everyone here seems to have a small dog they parade around in a doggy pram! We had to strip bed and shake sheets out of window! Take towels as 5 euros cost per set. Train to Bruges is 10 min walk away and takes only 12 mins. Train leaves every hour and is ten to the hour so check times before leaving as we had a 50 min wait! Leave the car though, beer is lethal in Belgium! Ample free parking to 1st July, we went Whitsun bank holiday week. If you're driving, go over border to Holland, see Sluis! Bruges is fab, but Ghent is amazing! We were kid-less but there's loads here for them. Lots of cool seafront bars to watch the sunset, Reef was fab!

Beds were not made on arrival despite a fairly high charge for cleaning. No towels were provided, they had to be booked in advance, some were delivered after another phone call at an additional charge. No car parking as this had to be booked in advance, although no mention of this when booking, had to park about a mile away. This was not what we expected and did put a damper on our holiday.
