A wonderful place to stay. Tasteful decor and plenty of space. We were also really pleased with the large roof terrace overlooking the mountains and views to the coast. At night we could sit there and look at the stars and listen to to the goat bells.
We were able to explore much of the less tourist places on west coast and inland. A good ordinance survey map was useful which we brought from home plus 'Rough Guide'.
We weren't particularly into walking although the area has several trails nearby. Spent a great afternoon in Botanical Gardens which hit the spot.

Very nice place, lovely host. I stayed in April and did not use the pool.
