The hotel was clean and convenient enough to walk to the Louvre (20-25 minutes). I like walking and did so from the hotel for the 5 days I stayed there.
The room was small, basic and a bit run down. It had a kettle to boil water with a couple of packets of instant coffee and tea. I had a nice view of the street from my window. The bathroom was okay for a person of my size (small). The shower was just big enough but found myself getting stuck to the not so nice shower curtain. Amenities included 2 tiny shower gels.
The staff were very nice and helpful. They were at the desk 24/7 so I felt secure. The elevator was a trip. I could barely fit inside with a rolling suitcase.
I would not recommend paying for the continental breakfast. The coffee was not good. The instant coffee in the room was far more palatable. The food choices were slim even for a continental breakfast.
I would have preferred to pay about 20% less for a hotel of this class and condition. Mais c'est Paris alors!

It is a quaint older hotel. Everything was clan and comfortable. Staff was very nice.
