Friendly staff, clean and convenient

When we arrived at the property we were told they had no reservation for us (though we had printed documents with a reservation number and an email from the prior day from Expedia telling us about checking in). They told us that the room I had booked was not available for the price I had reserved it at. But because it was late in the evening they told us we could have two available rooms for free. But the next morning they told us we had to pay for the rooms, which I did. They then showed us what I think was a false document with the Expedia name on it, dated a few days prior to arrival, saying our reservation was canceled. We never received such a notice from Expedia, and in fact the day before Expedia had sent us the check-in hours, etc. Totally dishonest people. Plus the place was not all that nice anyhow. We then had to make another reservation at another hotel for our remaining two days in Zurich.

Bed is very small

Although it was a little way out of Zürich it was easily reachable by bus train and airport. Really nice inside room lovely and had a balcony which helped. Breakfast was taken and was really nice. However we had an evening meal whilst there which had a very limited menu and our selection was only ok. Would certainly go back

The hotel is within walking distance to airport, literally less than 30 minutes and you are there. If you travel light then that’s doable. There’s a tram stop nearby, you can get to Zurich centre in 30 minutes or go to airport, just 2 stops. There’s also a nice discount shop nearby where you can buy any food, snacks etc The room was clean and comfortable, it also looked new, like e.g. fluffy carpet, don’t know when the hotel was built but my room looked clean, new and not worn out. They have weird power sockets, I struggled to charge my phone, one of the adapters didn’t fit at all, the other only worked with my clever solution. Didn’t hear any plane noise in the early morning or in the night. The breakfast was rather basic standard, nothing exceptional. Only scrambled eggs and bacon for cooked options. Also they didn’t have a green tea. I picked this hotel because the hotels in the center were sold out or very expensive. You can get to the city center easily with the tram no.10 or combine it with a train which will be even quicker. However the tickets are quite expensive so take this into account.

A new very comfortable small hotel of "Swiss quality"

Great for a one night layover or two night stay. The location would not be ideal for visiting Zurich for an extended period of time, but I don’t think that is their target market anyway. Very clean and wonderful staff.

The hotel cancelled my booking without my consent. When I arrived late around 10:30 at night, they told me they have sent me an email cancellation which I have not received. Not even Expedia was being notified and now asking me to review my stay?!?!?! They then told me the price I booked was too low so they cancelled my booking. I need to file an official complain.

Close to the airport

Ok location

It’s decent for an overnight stay as it is close to the airport. However it’s silly that there is no shuttle or help to get you to/from the airport with it being so close.

We were only given one pillow each, asked for an additional pillow and were told they could not. Also when booked, we were under the impression there would be an airport shuttle. Once arrived, we were told that due to new management they are not running the shuttle anymore. Also the breakfast options are very limited. Rooms were spacious but walls are very thin and it’s pretty noisy. All in all it is fine for a layover spot.

This little spot is a gem. Perfect for easy access to or from the airport, the Gate Boutique is high end without the price located in a quaint residential neighborhood. We were impressed with the quality of amenities in the room and the breakfast was perfect before heading to the airport. Our room had TWO balconies, one covered one uncovered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Look no further for a Zurich airport hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff was excellent!! Explained me how to go about getting transport tickets. The room was sufficient for a single traveler and the breakfast was good.

I tried to coordinate a late arrival, but no one was in attendance. Check-in instructions were not given and if they were, THEY WERE NOT IN ENGLISH (the occupant’s language of choice). I had asked that your staff communicate to me in English. Incidentally, when my son arrived at your facility, no one was there, and he had to figure out what to do next. Your staff had provided a phone number for late check-in, but when my son called the number, the instructions given were not very clear. Your staff indicated that my son’s name had been left on a “phone box or post box,” but THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Neither I nor my son received any correspondence from your staff clarifying the check-in process. I do not speak German or Swiss and I had made it clear that I preferred to receive instructions in English. Your facility is not “User Friendly.” Once checked in, the window in the room would not close. The operating device for the window was “broken” in the OPEN position. Incidentally, the room was cold. My son (the occupant) had a restless night, because of the inability to close the window and every time an airplane departed or landed, my son was startled awake from a fitful slumber. Would not stay at your hotel in the future.

Clean and tidy Around 20 min bus ride to Zurich HB

Aircraft noisy, but ok at night. Comfortable and clean, modern facility.
