Champs Elysees Hotel

I stay here 3 nights with my father. Everything is great. We love the kind and decent service of the dront desk workers and will return whenever I am in taichung.

We stayed two nights. The four-person was room was sufficiently large and we loved the layout. (Bathroom separating a double bed, and two single beds). Room was clean and the bathroom (showers etc.) were modern.

Large big room with lots of space for my kids. Large washroom with separate shower from toilet.

Maybe it’s a cultural thing, however certain staff needs to be more in tune with international travellers, unless their guests are just locals. Stayed a week and since whenever the staff interacted with foreigners they seem to make them upset. Likewise myself. The staff is just rude. I’ve thought about the language barrier issue, but if they do not understand you they completely dismiss you. with all the technology there are these days, and with the staff always on their mobile device, they should use that’s to try to communicate with foreign visitors. Instead they act dumb and constantly answer No to every question you ask. Simple things like using the microwave which is situated in the breakfast area, which after a certain time you’re unable to access it due to sanctions blocking off access. I asked the staff why I couldn’t go into heat up my food, they responded NO. They also have a program to give away some cheap bags if you rate them high with 5-10 on reviews. To get fake votes. Understanding why they need this gimmic, because they may score poorly. I have stayed in countless places, but never left a review as they were always satisfactory. But this i thought i share with everyone looking to book at this place. It isn’t a cheap accommodation, yet poorly managed. Good lick and hope all goes well with you if you should book here.
