Last month, I spent four nights at CancellariaDieci. I goofed: The website clearly says it's a "modern and elegant bed and breakfast." Well, I did not see that. I prefer a nice hotel with a full staff to assist. I'm old, so sue me! So, on arrival, I was flummoxed...where's the staff? But everything was waiting for me, including room number, key, and all the information I needed to get up and going. In the end, it really was lovely. The building is ancient and screams “Roma!” Our room was a modern, clean, lovely, and well-appointed. For the record: I give it a Gold Star for best-smelling hotel room I've ever been in. While reception staffers are part-time, they were professional and helpful. The neighborhood is perfectly located, just minutes from Piazza Navona and a charming, vibrant dining/shopping district just steps behind CancellariaDieci. #GelatoHeaven. And it's very affordable compared to other Piazza Navona hotels that I had considered. I am returning to Rome in August 2026, and I likely again will stay here. So, I guess that says it all. [P.S. If you are a washcloth user, take one with you.]

2 night stay. AC was leaking water in the room. My daughter was sleeping because she didn’t feel well. I had to stay in the room with her while a tech came to take apart the AC unit and clean it because the lines got clogged causing the leak. Hotel room was very clean. Needs upgrading because important parts like faucets, handles, etc are old and flimsy. The building is old and there are some stairs to climb before getting to an elevator. It’s not a hotel by American standards. It would be considered a room from an apartment. There are 3 keys to manage: main entry door, door to your section of the building and then the door to your room. If you don’t plan on staying in the room most of the time, it’s okay. Communication from building managers was prompt.

The hotel location is a 10 for us. So close to Piazza Navona, Campo Fiori, Pantheon and to so many restaurants. It’s in a quiet alley and we felt safe as family. The stuff was all friendly. The only thing is we had a water leak from upstairs. I was up 5am trying to catch 4 different leaks from the ceiling with buckets. We understand this can happened even in our own home. They come early to check on us and help us move our many luggage down for us.

We loved our stay! The balcony was amazing and hotel staff was extremely helpful. Great area and very walkable to restaurants and bars. It was a bit loud at night because there is a restaurant on the first floor. It didn’t bother us and added to the vibe on the balcony - but might bother other travelers.

Me and my wife stayed at CancelleriaDieci 2 nights. We did not face any issue during the check-in and check-out. All the stuff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us very useful recommendations regarding to our trip and way back to the airport. But; I think they need to do a better job with cleaning and hygiene. The room looked very neglected and dirty. We saw dead bugs in the hair dryer and there were cobwebs in certain parts of the room. This made us very uncomfortable. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Navona and many quality restaurants. It is also very easy to walk to Trevi, Spanish Steps and Coliseum. I can safely say that if the cleaning issues are resolved, it is a hotel that can be preferred.

What a location! My wife and daughter wanted to move in. The staff (Fabrizio) was incredibly kind, as was the cleaning services. All were super helpful, and again, the walkable area to restaurants, piazzas, gelato, shopping… just perfect. Grazie!

This place is disgusting. I don’t know how this place has good reviews considering the state of this room. It had an ant infestation coming from the metal trim of the shower. I understand a few ants here or there but they were crawling out of the metal hole in the shower. There’s mold on the ceiling corner, not sure if the usually paint over so that’s why the review is overall great? The AC remote had gunk and was greasy as soon as we looked at it. The picture of the AC remote was after we even wiped it down. The picture of the tissue with yellow on it, is what came off when we were lightly rubbing the remote. The tissue with the dead ants if just what we killed in one spot from the bathroom as soon as we checked-in. Not to mention the curtain looks gross and the headboard had that oil/dirt stain. When I complained there was no accommodations, no refund, nothing. No help and they claim that the room is cleaned everyday. I sent over these pictures and asked what they make of the yellow tissue and mold. They haven’t responded.

This was a wonderful stay! The bed was so comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. Lots of cute shops and restaurants behind it. Turn right out of the hotel and explore the alleyways and small streets. Very walkable to all of the main attractions. Will stay there again on my next trip to Rome.

Communication from Katherina was great. Check in with Fabrivio was seamless, yet informative. Joy at the desk was very helpful too. The hotel is in an alley between two busy streets, though this added to the charm of being so near the activities. It’s an old building, in a very old city. Better than expected. Great restaurants feet away from the hotel front door. We enjoyed our time.

Rooms were very small and a bit grungy, Pics on the website were deceiving, I should have realized, by price comparison and looked at the amenities closer. The location was great, walking distance to all the sites, great food/ restaurants nearby. If you don’t mind roughing it a bit, it would be ok.

We loved our two night stay here! The location is unbeatable, so close to many nice restaurants and attractions. The check-in was smooth and the staff were welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We appreciated the small balcony and didn't hear any street noise at night. The only negative was the lobby and rooms had a strong perfume smell that lingered on our clothing even after we left, which was a bit much for us and could be problematic for someone with strong allergies. But overall we had a great stay and would recommend!

We often took a taxi to the attraction if early start and walked back but that was due to choice. Remember this is a guest house not a hotel so no good available. EST the restaurant next door is lovely. Bedding is changed every 2nd day. Towels seemed to be changed only if you left them on the floor rather than hanging them up. Tea and coffee is provided in the room although the cartons of milk were not replaced which was a little weird and toilet rolls weren't replaced either - a bit strange. There is a mini fridge with water in the room. Storage was poor - just one wardrobe and no draws so we had to live out of our suitcase. This was my only issue really. We had a balcony which was nice to sit out on, due to coverage over the top it didn't get much sun. Be aware the lift doesn't start on the ground floor, it only starts from floor 1. Stone or tiled floors and heavy doors which do bang when closing but generally quite. Would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect. Check-in was easy having an elevator was definitely a huge plus! The balcony was wonderful at night to sit out and have a glass of wine once we got back from our adventures.
