3 for cleanness, close to the campus, but I left my prescribed sun glasses in the room and they said “we didn’t see anything”. I left them in front of the TV. My kid said he brought everything down. Kids… huh.. my fault for not checking, but the hotel lying…. That I don’t like…

We generally enjoyed our stay at the Cobblestone Inn. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean and well-equipped. The fitness center was adequate for a quick morning work out. For the most part, I'd say our hotel room was quiet making it easy to relax/sleep. However, 7am Sunday morning a coffee cart set up in the parking lot outside our room and their generator was loud and woke us up. We may come back, because we have family in the area. If we do, we will likely ask for a room on the other side of the complex.

Plenty of parking. Breakfast was nice. Some hot food, cereal, breads and fruits. The room was clean. Two of us, in different rooms noticed the AC turns off in the middle of the night. We both noticed around 2am. Also, there is no elevator to get upstairs.

Understand this is a two-story hotel with no elevator. They do have handicap accessible rooms on the first floor, if needed. Overall, the hotel was clean, had a friendly staff, and our room was clean & had plenty of room to move around. Not the most savory breakfast selection, but I usually stick with making a fresh waffle when I stay at a hotel and it’s hard to mess that up. I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed another day. We were on a two week wandering, staying at a different motel each night. All of the others were highly rated chain brands, but this one turned out to be the best. It is truly welcoming from the family operating the motel to the spotlessly clean rooms and lobby. Breakfast options generous and tasty. Parking was easy and safe. A plus for us was that there are almost twenty covered bridges within a thirty mile radius that are worth visiting, and other similar such attractions as well. We hope to go back next time we are in Indiana.

The desk employee could not find my reservation when I arrived and basically shrugged their shoulders about it. ( Despite my reservation number etc. ) Fortunately, I had chosen to pay on arrival so I hadn’t paid yet. I had to ask if they had any other rooms and they had *one*. So I quickly rented that room and spent an hour on the phone trying to ensure I wouldn’t be charged as a “no show” on my reservation. The room was ok and the price ok for it. Just felt the staff was not helpful or concerned. I’d give them a second chance but I am skeptical…..

First day at breakfast they took the gravy for the biscuits and it was not replaced. Second day, no sausage. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Fresh fruit was great. Second day the bananas were looking a little dark, within 5 minutes they were replaced with better bananas. The waffles were delicious.

The printer in the business center didn't work. I tried mailing my document to the front desk, but they couldn't print it either. Pretty much sucks if you have to be in court at 9 a.m., can't get copies anywhere in town before 9 a.m., and can't print ANYTHING at the hotel. What's the point of a business center?

We were there to attend an event in Oxford. The folks at the desk were very helpful giving us an alternate route to get there due to extreme weather and concerns that some roads might be washed out. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. It wasn't a real problem, but the website said that there was a bar at the hotel and we assumed it would be available when we returned from our event, but it was not because the person at the desk was not of age /certified to open it. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again if we were in the area.
