Clean room, great staff. Only downside was the listing advertised a safe in the room, but we had none, yet other guests also attending the same wedding had safes in their rooms.

Excellent customer service. Great bar. 1 min walk to ACL moody theater which was the reason we were in Austin for a concert. Pricey but worth it.

Some of the staff was not nice and place are over priced paid $1000 for a suite that was not clean and when we showered it leaked had to put towels down every time we showered.

From stepping out of the car all the way through the end of my trip, all staff were incredible and exactly what I've come to expect from W properties. Everyone was kind, attentive and helpful. I had requested my room to be available early if possible and they were able to accommodate. The restaurant and cafe were both fantastic along with the amenities and my room was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

First of all, this was our first stay in a W hotel. When I told the team that we were celebrating our anniversary. They immediately offered us complimentary upgrade. We were wowed when we opened the door to celebratory strawberries and champagne. My heart melted. My husband and I were thrilled and appreciative!

Really beautiful hotel-front desk employee Suzanne was so wonderful friendly and professional. You need more staff like her! Room service was terrible, over an hour to receive food and it was not that good.

Our brief stay at the W only served to remind us of how much Austin has fallen from the city we all once loved very much when we were young. I travel for work and stay in hotels weekly. I have been treated better at a $40/night cinderblock motel than how we were treated at The W. It all started when we pulled up to have our truck valet parked. Instantly, the young parking attendant gave attitude. He said, "I can't park that!" My husband said, with that attitude you can't" That was not received well, more attitude. Once we went inside to check in there was another patron having an issue with the front desk. A couple employees standing at he check in desk ignored us for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. One of the bartenders at the speak easy type bar was very nice and helpful. The other bartender, not so much. He was rude. The other bartenders were getting large tips. We were being handed drink after drink. One patron at the bar was extremely rude to my husband and when my husband finally shot back a rude response, apparently this snowflake of a human being couldnt handle the response. He complained to the staff. When we wrapped up the night and in our room, we were met by a cop and manager telling us to get our things and get out. It seems once the tips stopped they threw us out with bs reasons. We were over served and in no shape to be on Austin streets at 2am with no where to go. The W panders to certain types with no real concern for all their patrons.

The front desk was very friendly. And so was the answering service and bartender. My only complaints are that 1) there was only one valet working and he was being called in a lot of directions so he wasn’t readily available and so there was a long wait to check in the car and 2) ordered room service. After 40 mins I called and they said they need another 20 mins. After 2 hours I cancelled it and just didn’t eat dinner that night. It was only 2 hamburgers! 😬

I paid for a corner room thinking it was going to be a bit more spacious. Instead, it had a huge column inches from the bed which made the room really crowded (like a NYC room).

Great location if you’re going to concert at Moody Theater. But I feel like hotel is overpriced. Our room floor felt dirty and there towels felt like sand paper. The bar area down stairs is nice.

Room service was unreliable in terms of the quality and amount of food from day to day and the upkeep of the rooms was mediocre, both the phone and the coffee machine were not working upon arrival.

The staff was very nice and helpful, however the hotel was under heavy construction so I couldn’t really see what the hotel really looked like. Would like to come back when the construction is finished. The room service was not very timely perhaps due to the construction?

We absolutely loved our stay. We let the team know we were celebrating our anniversary with a staycation and they treated us to a brand new corner room with a view and desserts waiting in our room. We felt so special and cared for.

Temp front desk, no proper lobby or restaurant and pool was just a night club with 20 something’s hanging around the pool edges with drinks and pounding music. Seems it is leased out to a separate entity because could not even get ice from them when no ice machines working on floors. Guess a lot of this speaks to Austin in general. Definitely feel the squeeze on consumers and if you want something good you will have to pay, and I mean pay pay pay. For the hotel, probably should have been me doing due diligence and phone ahead to check things like construction.

From the room cost, parking and additional fees and the fun money I chose to fork out up at the pool it was a $1k night for a "motel" experience.
