    Location walking distance 300m to the Bridge Mae Nam Kwaew. Stunning river views from restaurant. Good buffet breakfast, fantastic staffs, room cleanliness, facilities with small pool and fitness. Flexible for check in/out and breakfast restaurant or room. Recommended for city stay hotel riverside and garden.

    My wife and I spent one night at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and polite. They always smile to every guest. The room is clean and tidy. The location is close to the historical bridge of the river Kwai. Breakfast is also good, drink in the evening including.

    I really wanted to like this hotel and as it is marketed as 4-star was expecting a level of luxury that is one star below the 5-star Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, and yes, I know it is a small boutique hotel, but 4 stars what ever the size of hotel denotes a certain level of luxury. Sadly, this was not the case and I was disappointed. The hotel is at best a 3-star, and that is being generous. It should really be 2- stars, but elevated because of the staff who are exemplary - thoughtful, helpful and attentive. The room was small (superior balcony - twin) and with two people and two normal suitcases there was not enough space to swing a cat and really only warranted 2 stars . They obviously had a good photographer do their promos! The layout and fabric of the hotel is basic and reminiscent of a 1980s US motel or a 1970s UK Butlins camp. Poor quality wooden shelves and hanging space area. On the plus side there is a safe and fridge. The restaurant is nice, with a decent buffet breakfast and a reasonably priced menu for lunch and dinner. You may think I hated this hotel, I didn’t. I just felt it needed to be honest about itself. It needs to be totally refurbished, or preferably rebuilt. However, a huge plus for the hotel apart from the excellent staff is its location - breakfast looking over the river and a view of the bridge which is only a 10 min walk away. Amazing! Ultimately, I would stay here again, but would expect less from the accommodation and be less disappointed.
