We were able to check in an hour early as our room was ready. This was much appreciated as we flew all night and part of the next day to get there. The front desk was exceptional in advising us on directions and how to use the trams in Basel. The room was very well appointed.

Property was nice, rooms clean. But was shocked that they only give you 2 coffee pods per room a day!!! So if you both drink coffee you only get 1 small cup in the morning. Never heard of a hotel limiting you on coffee and we've traveled several countries.

Lovely hotel, this is really cool boutique hotel, a hidden gem…. I usually stay in 5 star hotels but I needed to be in this location. I took a chance on this hotel after reading good reviews and honestly I was not disappointed. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

Fantastic hotel! Staff is very friendly, warm and informative with suggestions to help enhance your stay in Basel. The room is quiet and the AC keeps it at a great temperature amid this current heatwave. AC can often be a rare commodity at hotels here and rarer that it actually cools the room. Such a comfortable stay that I extended it!

Very charming hotel. Close to Old Town, museums, and shopping. Unfortunately, all the shops were closed as it was Easter Weekend. This was just a one night stay to get accustomed to the 7 hour time difference. The room was very tidy, had everything we needed and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff was more than helpful. We had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff was beyond helpful and nice. Rooms were super clean. We got the basic room, but it was larger than we expected and just fine for three nights. Great location in the heart of the city. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room at night. We had to open the window because it was so hot. The gym was also very hot and had limited equipment. It had three cardio machines and a set of hand weights (only Up to 10 kg).

Average hotel. Quick and easy check in, staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. We asked for a kettle and it was in our room on our return that evening. We were also able to borrow a plug adaptor Hotel modern and clean but the room itself was a bit tired. It had just been cleaned before we got there and there was a smell of dirty mop lingering. Not fresh at all and we had to open tge windows and spray some perfume to get rid of it. Good, quiet area near the river and a short walk to the Christmas markets

Convenient location if you’re staying before a Viking cruise - could walk or tram to the docking location. Only downside was value - thought the room could be nicer for the price - felt a little more basic or sparse. But it was clean, quiet, and friendly- which was the most important for us.
