Guide Hotel Taipei Fuxing N.

The hotel is filthy, not well maintained. There are no provided seats outside if ever guests arrive way before check in time. You cannot enter if you haven’t self checked in. The bedsheets and drapes are very dirty, with stains. The wood cabinet has visible dust. The interior is creepy. The pictures at Agoda are way different compared to the actual.

I had a wonderful stay here and can’t recommend this hotel enough. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, making my stay extremely enjoyable. What truly made this place exceptional, though, was the incredible hospitality. The front desk lady went above and beyond to help me. Due to multiple unexpected flight changes, my travel plans kept changing back and forth, which was very stressful. She was so patient, understanding, and accommodating, working with my schedule every step of the way. Finding a hotel that is this flexible and genuinely cares about its guests is rare these days. Their kindness and willingness to help made a difficult travel situation so much easier, and I am truly grateful. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding customer service, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you again for making my trip such a positive experience!

Loved staying at the hotel. Very near to Zhongsong High School MRT. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Self check-in process was very easy. Just required a couple of minutes. Highly recommended hotel. As a suggestion, you can have a coffee vending machine near the reception. Overall, I had n amazing time.

The room itself was great—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. However, the logistics were a bit of a challenge. It’s a 100% self-check-in property with no staff on-site. If you book through Agoda, be aware that the automated system may struggle to find your booking. I spent 30 minutes in the "lobby" (which is more of an entranceway) trying to get my reservation confirmed. Pro-tip: The phone at the check-in kiosk is temperamental; it disconnected on my first try but worked on the second. Location-wise, it’s decent but not central. It's a 15-minute walk to the main metro lines, though bus access is better. It’s a bit far from the major night markets and central attractions. Also, note there are no bedside power sockets, so plan your charging accordingly. I’d likely look for something more convenient next time. Oh and I wouldn't suggest storing your luggae with them because they don't give any bag tag, and anyone can take your luggage. When I went to colelct my luggage, there wasn't any staff at the reception. Thankfully there were some people insdie the lobby area that let me in. I just took my luggage and went off. This is pretty risky.
