    If you are looking to stay in Barranco (and why wouldn't you, it's peak hipster Lima) then this is the place to stay. Set in a quaint classic building the room's are spacious, comfortable and full of stylish, quirky touches as is the rest of the hotel. Charming bar and restuarant area and a relaxing outdoor space to watch Barranco slide on by. Close to an array of hipster bars and restaurants and stores you can stroll down to views of the ocean. Safe and friendly area to spend your days and nights in Lima. Go ahead and book.

    Pro: Jorge and all the staff from checkin to checkout, I felt so taken care of. My towels, the simple breakfast, and the 5-star customer service quality. This is an old mansion yet the bathrooms are modern. They upgraded my suite to one at front with balcony, I felt like a princess. Definitely recommended.

    Musky? Musty? Both actually. Decrepit hotel slowly falling apart, and, sadly, the owners must not have the money to properly take care of it. I've stayed in quirky hotels before, but this one is on its last legs and way overpriced for an old, 2-star hotel (definitely nowhere near a 4-star hotel as shown on the Google). Shower wouldn't drain even after they "fixed" it. AC turned off and wouldn't turn back on (someone from another room was complaining that his AC kept blowing a fuse). Location is stellar.
