    Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Shi Chi Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel provided good value for the price. The staff were friendly, and the overall experience was satisfactory. One suggestion for improvement is the bathroom design. There was no convenient place to hang a second bath towel, which made it less practical for two guests. It would also be helpful if the wardrobe included a couple more wooden clothes hangers to provide sufficient hanging space. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

    I had actually gotten locked out of my place and needed a room at 3 am. They have 24 desk who helped me check in. The room was clean and made efficient use of space. I slept very well and the shower was good. The breakfast was much much better than I expected.

    Location is near the Kaoshiung Arena, and that’s probably one of the only plus points (other than the breakfast which was quite good as well). Room is spacious, but power sockets were loose and hard to plug in TW plugs.. ironically if you used UK plugs those would fit better.. (so I guess plus point is that they have universal plugs). The hairdryer was terrible (barely had any wind), shower temperature kept fluctuating and the toilet flush was weak. Initially our tap was shaky too, but they came up to our room to fix it so it was less shaky. Also, the safe wasn’t working. After they fixed it, only numbers 7-9 worked… Overall I think if you just needed a place to stay for one or two nights it’s okay, but we paid quite a bit for the room which I think was mainly just because of the location. Hence, I was a little disappointed overall with the room itself. Staff were polite enough, but we had better service elsewhere so comparatively they were less friendly.
