There was a group of young hockey players in the hotel the parents were letting then run all over the place unsupervised. they were loud and rambunctious blocking the hallways throwing ice all over the place. I asked the front desk to deal with it and they did not. I was not impressed

This is my favourite hotel. The staff is excellent, the furnishings are beautiful, and the whole place is spotless. I will add the convenience of the restaurant is ideal. Truly world class!

Front desk fellow seemed unhelpful and abit confused when we checked in. Maryanne from housekeeping made up for it and was extremely helpful. Restaurant/pub was good.

Very friendly staff, rooms on the smaller side but clean and modern. The pub was lively during the ball game and really fun. I wish they had a pool and hot tub! Even a small one.

Hi there, I’m a business traveller who comes through or will be coming through fairly often and it was my first day at the hotel. Overall, the room was very nice and comfortable. Everything is clean and well kept the one complaint I have which might seem small, but for a woman with long hair was very big that there was no conditioner.. There was shampoo and soap and lotion, but no conditioner which for someone like me added an extra 45 minutes onto my morning I didn’t think to travel with that because even the very basic motels provide shampoo and conditioner. I don’t know if this was an oversight, but I highly recommend that you have conditioner if you’re going to attract business travellers who are in a hurry in the mornings. Everything else was great, but this one thing would cause me to choose a different hotel in the future. Thank you.

We booked 2 rooms as our daughter and son-in-law came with us. They had to change rooms as their bed sheets were dirty. We had no screen on our window and had to have a cold shower in the morning as there was no hot water. We did enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant.

Only criticism is that the cleaners need to do a better job cleaning the shower. There was quite a bit of pink surface mildew in the shower that could be easily wiped off.

We didn't know what to expect of this new property and were pleasantly surprised. It is beautifully decorated with locally inspired finishes. The pub food was excellent, including breakfast which was 20% off for guests. We requested additional clothes hangers which we were given. The toiletries were high quality, our room had plenty of towels. Housekeeping comes only on request. Lemon/cucumber water is available in the lobby. There is a large grocery store next door and restaurants are a 10 minute walk. Do NOT miss Guidos Cafe and the adjacent book store and art gallery.

advised the reception; 1 point of concern ( from someone who has designed and BUILT many resort hotels!) arrived lte and jumped into a quick shower BUT the residue if soap/cleaner on the shower base made it VERY slippery and treacherous ! No grab rails, no rubber mat- this could be a problem... shower base caulking also mildewed and failing ... otherwise nice stay!
