Very clean and convenient hotel in Kaohsiung that is close to the train station and great street food, plus it serves an amazing, unlimited buffet breakfast.

Only stayed one night in the city but this hotel was in an excellent location and really clean! Staff were really polite and helped me whenever I had a question. Highly recommend

River Inn Station is a great option to stay at for its location, its cleanliness, and its value (its rooms come with breakfast, and all you can drink coffee and tea courtesy of their Nescafe machines, and the bed is comfy). However, do note that room size is not the biggest, and breakfast quality is mediocre to say the least. Overall however, if you need a convenient homebase when you're in Taiwan, and you plan to be out and about most of the time, then I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Overall, the room price is acceptable, and the room is clean. However, the room is small (similar to those in japan, not sure if it is normal in Taiwan). My room was at 2/F, and there was some drainage pipe odor in the room. (My friends' room at high floor didn't have such odor)
