Room was cold-no heat. Bathroom shower stall very small-could not bend over to wash. Wifi not so good for some phones. One worked one didn't. Small steps made hard to carry luggage.

Loved the family room, so spacious with huge beds for everyone. There was a bit of a musty smell that disappeared when the windows were opened, but I am not sure it would be as good in the winter. Otherwise everything was wonderful, employees and room were top notch.

The food is great but the room had no air con and was very hot overlooking the main road. Had very little sleep as it was so hot.

The room was small with only essential furniture but beds were comfortable and the bedding is of good quality. The absence of AC in the middle of June was definitely a big minus. It was far after midnight when with two opened windows room cooled to manageable temperature. Parking is very tight but we were able to find a spot to park our car all three night we spent there. WiFi is terrible, barely works. TV did not have connection at all. Breakfast at the restaurant was basic but delicious, dinner was below expectations.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Hotel Faisin - it was a perfect stopover for 1 night while travelling through France. We appreciated being able to get an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel, particularly as we arrived later than we were hoping to. Friendly staff and basic but clean accommodation. Finding how to get into the hotel was a struggle. We found the sign that said hotel but there was no front office that we could see. We walked around "lost" for about 10 minutes before someone came out and handed us a key to our room. They didn't check us in or ask our name. They said they were waiting for us to check in. That process was a bit unusual. The room was clean and large. We are a family of 5 and they had enough beds to fit us all. The room was very humid. The sheets almost felt damp to the touch. There is a lovely bakery right down the street. I didn't get their name, but I would visit that bakery again! Amazing pastries!

What a great find. The staff were exceptionally friendly and were patient with us because we speak very limited French. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is an exceptional value. We would stay again for certain!

We had a wonderful short stay - the host/Gardien is very welcoming and hospitable. The place is perfect for visiting Tours and nearby castles of Loire Valley. Their restaurant is on property and very convenient with a chic bar. They arranged for a delicious Pizza for our family upon arrival and it was great.
