    Why would they sharge you $** more after you already booked it. there hotel room was gross with spiders.

    The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. The parking area is small and located outside along the street, although I did appreciate having an assigned parking space. The biggest problem with the room was the noise. The wall-mounted air conditioner was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. On top of that, the sound insulation between rooms is very poor, you can easily hear what is happening in neighboring rooms. If you’re a light sleeper, this can be a serious issue. The most disappointing part, however, was the advertised continental breakfast. I paid approximately $30 extra for a rate that included breakfast, and what was provided hardly justified the additional cost. Breakfast consisted essentially of a small, crowded table behind the reception area with a coffee machine, orange and apple juice that tasted artificial, some bagels, bread and a toaster. That was basically it. The breakfast area itself is also quite small and uncomfortable. Calling this a continental breakfast creates expectations that, in my opinion, simply aren’t met. Had I known what was actually offered, I definitely would not have paid extra for breakfast. Would I recommend the hotel? Only in a limited sense. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to spend one night near Bal Harbour and your priority is simply having a clean room at a reasonable price, it may serve its purpose. But I wouldn’t consider it a particularly comfortable hotel, especially for a longer stay. The noisy A/C, very poor sound insulation, and extremely basic breakfast were significant drawbacks. Bottom line: clean room and decent service, but don’t pay extra for the breakfast, and bring earplugs.
