    Everything was great at the Coco Grove as expected as I have stayed with them before. However, this time booking through Agoda I believe we were possibly given the worst bedroom in it's class. Right next to a village with Roosters crowing all day starting at 2am in the morning, followed by dog fights and general barking. For a peaceful relaxing stay this is not ideal.

    Coco Grove Beach Resort has outstanding customer service. The only place we have experienced this kind of level of care is in Shangrila. Coco Grove's staff have the highest level of care, their food in all of their restaurants are delicious, the beach and underwater are great, and their services are amazing. We have been here as a couple before and now brought our kids. We will definitely be back!

    Hotel amenities are amazing, and the complimentary breakfast by the beach, as well as the pick-up and drop-off service, is definitely a plus. Though the rooms could be better maintained, maybe because it’s one of the oldest resorts on the island. There were some cobwebs and occasional creepy crawlies, which may be expected since we stayed in a garden room on the first floor. The AC also wasn’t working very well, but the staff were accommodating and did what they could to assist us. The location is around a 5–10 minute motorcycle ride from the center, while still being within San Juan. Overall, it was still a fun hotel experience despite the things mentioned above. The peaceful beach vibes, relaxing atmosphere, and accommodating staff made our stay enjoyable. Definitely a nice place if you’re looking for a quieter and more laid-back stay.
