The owner is a kind and hardworking person, but it is clear that she needs more help than she currently has with her tasks. The breakfasts and meals are adequate. However, the prices are aimed exclusively at international tourism and are prohibitive for anyone living in Cuba. The guesthouse is somewhat far from communication routes, and the transportation they suggest to the airport is excessively expensive in relation to the distance. There are very few services available in the area, and none accept dollars or euros. The electricity occasionally goes out, and although they have a generator, it does not cover the guest rooms. In summary, it is a place designed for those who seek isolation and privacy.
