Staff and facilities were excellent in a great location

I have no words to describe how happy and calm I felt staying in Layla! I had the most beautiful garden pool view room (the most specious rooms are 1,2 & 3). Everything was clean, the room smelled great and was very pleasant! Comfortable bed, really hot water (rare in Tulum), Netflix, great lighting, privacy & silence, and lots of space to hand my dresses! The location in town is awesome, lots of parking and restaurants around (go to osteria Venezia) and the food in the hotel is super wonderful! Especially the cebiches and the hummus too! There’s an amazing rooftop pool (in which I was the DJ ) with excellent beds and sittings and breakfast was included too! The owner Itai was very kind, and so was everyone from reception, restaurant and house keeping! Helena helped with restaurant reservations and the stuff was doing everything to make the guests feel at home! I stayed 7 nights and it wasn’t enough! I love this hotel and definitely will be back next time in Tulum! But but but… the BEST OF ALL… was RICARDO ♥️! The general manager. He made me feel like a princess and sent me an amazing set of flowers with a personal letter and another very meaningful gift! From the first second I arrived till after I left, he took care of me and made my stay so special. I’ve heard he personally cares about each & every guest! You MUST stay in this hotel! It’s really worth it! If you feel like staying on the beach, go to SANA, a sister hotel! Fancy & luxurious! Best design hotel in Tulum. Also moroccan style. 🪬🧿

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Centro. Hotel is in walking distance to alot of restaurants and shops. The staff is amazing. I looked forward to happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks. I would definitely go back again.

I stayed at Layla for 4 nights on my own and was incredible impressed with my experience there. I chose Layla because of the great reviews I read and it was very important I stay at a safe and convenient hotel as I was going to be on my own. The ladies at the front desk are all super friendly and available by WhatsApp - the fastest service I’ve experienced at a hotel! I was notified after my first night that I was upgraded to a bigger room which was a very nice surprise. Everyone remembered my name throughout my stay which was very nice. The pool is gorgeous! I made a point to make room in my schedule to hang out there at least two days to enjoy the sun, food and drinks. Even one evening after the sun set to wind down. Christian - the daytime bartender - is amazing and gave me some great local recommendations! He knows his stuff! And makes great drinks too. Security was also next level to my expectations as each night when I returned (at late hours) I was ALWAYS asked what room I was staying at which I really appreciated. Location wise it is walkable to everything in Centro. I highly recommend staying at Layla and look forward to coming back.
