This is a lovely little gem on Cozumel—very laid-back and family-style. The property is run by a very friendly and attentive owner who is often on-site, which made the stay feel safe and welcoming. The location is excellent: walkable to the ferry terminal, main transportation areas, and many restaurants.
My room was small and very basic, but the peaceful courtyard was beautiful and really the highlight of the stay. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re visiting the island for a night or two and want something simple, quiet, and well located.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner truly went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The place itself is basic but has everything you need, and it’s impressively quiet and clean. A great choice if you’re looking for simplicity and exceptional hospitality. A great location walkable to all the restaurants, hot water and air conditioning work great.

I had such a wonderful stay at Casa del Solar! The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing.
