    This hotel served my purpose: to have somewhere easy on the border with Nong Khai. Otherwise, the hotel was not very clean, smelled strongly of cigarettes (the room itself was slightly better), carpets were stained, and the staff were not very helpful and spoke very little English. I attempted to ask some questions in advance through messaging, email, phone--and none of them worked or got any response. I would only stay here for border convenience. The hotel also has a dedicated immigration checkpoint accessible from the back, but I had only discovered this after it was relevant.

    The room size was huge and the hotel was very ornate. Perfect access from the Thai/Lao friendship bridge border crossing. Not a fan of the cigarette smoke in the casino, but that was not a problem in the hotel section. Air quality was great in the hotel. If I am ever in Vientiane again, this is where I will stay.

    Best is room , new and clean , bed very comfortable. Gaming is okay , Better of more machines are 0.50 for 5 dragons. Food and breakfast is okayish. If want receipt for stay , better ask hotel because sometimes cannot get !!! ( which is strange ) , will probably come again some time.

    Nice/ok definitely not worth the money, they definitely need carpet and upholstery cleaning.
