Super views - lovely pool and good facilities for the size of the hotel. Lovely staff. Food excellent but restricted meno options apart from the lovely barbecue (twice a week). Nothing much to do in the evening and you need a car if you want to get around. One shuttle to the beach and a local trip is all there is from the hotel. But for ambience and relaxing super.

Casa León Royal Retreat is quite simply the finest anywhere, superb location, peace calm tranquility a Shangri-la. The comfort and ambience was first class the cuisine high quality and staff incredible, warm ultra friendly totally professional. We had one of our most enjoyable breaks anywhere. Highly recommended.

Superb location and a great base to explore the whole island while staying in a tranquil, high-end hotel and area, away from the crowds. Stunning views both up into the dramatic mountains and down over Maspalomas and its dunes to the ocean. Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff, a perfect balance. They all seemed to care deeply about their guests and to take pride in their work and hotel. Excellent breakfasts and dinners, with top quality ingredients and cooking. Before staying, I had the impression the food might be a little too light, like a health spa, but in fact dinners were well proportioned four-course affairs. The whole property is peaceful and uplifting, with delightful planting, well maintained paths through the grounds, and perfect spots for the pool and al-fresco breakfasts. Tucked away you can find a multitude of amenities, such as a sauna, outdoor games such as boules and tennis, an indoor games room, a gym, a yoga studio, and more. The room was very comfortable, with everything to a high standard. It really is a complete place for a quality, peaceful retreat.
