The hotel is an old farm, vinyard that has been converted to hotel with restaurant and wine tasting. It's located within 25-45 minutes from several wineries, castles and other old villages. The staff, especially Sabrina, was excellent.

The Borgo is situated very far from the main road, with a small scary road that we did not dare drive in the dark. There were tons of bugs, we got eaten alive our 1st time at the pool, we only stayed 20 mins. Our initial room was awful, next to reception, where groups of people hung out. But the manager allowed us to choose a better room, thankfully, as we were there for 5 nights! The restaurant staff were nice and tried hard, but the food was very limited: although it was good, there was not enough food in the morning (only one batch of eggs and bacon made, if you arrive after a group, forget getting any), the supper menu was the same every night.
The location was far from most towns we wanted to visit, but overall still a nice experience. The reception staff were very nice and helpful.
