    We went to Paris for the French Open. Hotel has larger rooms, AC and convenient location. The front desk staff, while polite, are not effective. We were given a handicap room, which is okay but would have been nice to have been told. Unfortunately, the shower was open, no doors, and the bathroom floor would get wet making it very slippery. Make-up mirror was waist height and couldn't be adjusted. We used the extra towels to mop up the floor, and the next day were given no bath towels. The AC needed to be adjusted as it was 90+ degrees when we were there. We called down to the front desk around 11p to ask how to do it and were told they'd send someone up in 10 minutes. My husband asked for instructions instead as we were tired, but the person on the phone promised that maintenance would be there. By midnight, no one had come and we tried to call the front desk to cancel but no one answered the phone. The next night we asked for a fan and the front desk person said immediately that there were no fans available. We asked to speak with her manager, who said there were 3 fans available and he would bring by 2. Front desk did not even check. We had trouble finding the French Open on TV even though it was 2.5 miles from the hotel. We found it on German sports channel but there was terrible static. We called down to front desk and asked which channel it was on. We were told that they did not have it in the TV line-up for the hotel. I texted our friends that we were traveling with and they told us it was on channel 4 which the hotel did have, it wasn't listed on the guide. As a Marriott property, we expect much better service and experience. It was a real disappointment. On a positive note, the hotel did a good job keeping guests safe during the PSG riot which was on the street of the hotel.

    The property is was very nice. My room was so comfortable and kept very clean everyday during my stay. The location was close to food, shopping and all the attractions. I will definitely stay here again.

    We Loved staying at Renaissance Arc de Triomphe. Great location, amazingly helpful staff. Highly recommend, we had a very comfortable stay.
