There is new carpet, the sheets were white a& clean, the big fridge and microwave were very handy & pretty red! You can tell this was an old motel, but they have put a lot of hard work and care into updating it and have given it a fresh coat of paint inside and outside. Also, new easy to use locks on the doors and a/c fan units.
The room is very basic without a coffee pot (there is a drive-through coffee shop about one block away!) but it does have shampoo and soap. And the towels were very white and fluffy and numerous!
Around the toilet, there were a few of the linoleum tiles that the corners were popping up.
It was quiet and I felt safe as a solo woman traveler. It was easy to find and the contact person was very helpful (although through the booking app that I used our messages were delayed to each other, so just be aware that it might not seem to be an instant answer!)

Electrical outlets seemed to be few in number. Maybe a power strip or something with USB outlet.
