We got a room on the high floor as we requested , but it was not facing the sea, and plus we found a strange smell from the bathroom. So we came down to the reception and asked if we could get a room facing the sea. We paid an extra 10 euro for the upgrade. The room was newer, and we have the sea view! What we don’t like about this room: the bathroom was leaking a bit. We only noticed that in the evening after finishing shower. We didn’t report it (we have been traveling for quite sometime and couldn’t be bother to report each issue). The next day we went out, came back to the room in the evening and happy that our room was cleaned. That evening after we finished shower however, the bathroom was leaking like crazy! This is where we thought: the staff must have known this, the cleaner was there, the bathroom must have been leaked too when the cleaner cleaned the bathroom, and they wiped it clean and dry! But they “sold” the room to us.
The location of the hotel is within walking distance to the Bonaparte’s memorial, and to the nice beach!
