Outstanding family run beachfront hotel with superb service! The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They even arranged an incredible in-room massage for us. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The homemade breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, the complimentary beach sunbeds right in front of the hotel were just perfect. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Highly recommended for a relaxing beach stay!

A great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Perfect location and the staff was wonderful. I did not receive the VIP drink benefit that Expedia mentions. Not sure what that is… but either way, was a lovely stay.

Some of the most special days we spent as a family. This place is a gem, and the beach is perfection. It was perfect for our little kids. The apartment we had was super clean and quiet. The owners are super lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious every day!

From the moment we arrived the Glaronissi family was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. They take great pride in what they do for their guests. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful little hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and personal everything felt. The hotel is small, which makes the atmosphere so warm and welcoming — nothing like the big, impersonal resorts. But it still has all the amenities you need. The location is absolutely unbeatable — you’re close to the beach and several wonderful restaurants without any crowds or busy streets. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They took the time to answer all of our questions, offer recommendations, and make us feel genuinely cared for. I can honestly say this was the most friendly and accommodating hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, a perfect beach location, and exceptional service, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

An exceptional place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners are both warm and respectful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are very private and spacious! The location in plaka is unbeatable—perfectly situated amidst all the attractions yet offering a peaceful, secluded feel. The breakfast is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The beachfront is stunning, and with their comfortable loungers, you would not want to go anywhere. Highly recommended!

Ok - first and foremost- the hosts are wonderful! Betty and John are genuinely HAPPY to welcome guests and go out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Second - there’s an older review stating that the rooms are ‘tired’ and need refreshing. NO MORE! We stayed in three rooms during our stay and each one was well appointed and updated. The last one I would even say -GORGEOUS!!! Each room in which we stayed had a view on the sea. All rooms are set back 100 + meters from the dirt track that runs along the beach. The word ‘chill’ must have been invented for this place. Breakfast- was varied and delicious. The restaurant between the hotel and the beach was our constant choice. Not glitzy - just great food. You will RELAX and smile here!!!

Excellent hotel! We lived in the apartments which feature a small kitchenette. Nice, quiet surroundings and great atmosphere. Family driven place, breakfast made for you with local ingredients. Has its own sunbeds at the beach and there are plenty, so even if you don't run and reserve in the morning there is always a spot for you. Airconditioned rooms, smart TV, wifi. Everything just works like a charm. Thank you for having us <3

Loved this place. The beach across the street with comfortable chairs and umbrella were included. Breakfast is also include and different every day. Ingredients to make food are all locally grown. The hosted is wonderful and helpful. Would definitely return here.

We loved our stay here in Naxos! Betty was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and delicious! Our room was very clean and spacious. We had views out to the sea and were a very short walking distance to the beach. The property has umbrellas and lounges to use at no fee. Within walking distance to many restaurants. Our favorite was the Family restaurant two doors down. Highly recommend staying here!

Glaronissi Beach was such a an amazing experience from top to bottom for us. The hospitality from the owners of the hotel were top notch. They were always very kind and helpful to meet any of our needs. The hotel was so beautiful and clean with a spectacular beach just a few steps away from our room. Thank you Yiannis and Mom for being such beautiful people!!

The Glaronissi Beach Hotel was a wonderful experience with a friendly knowledgeable staff that go beyond standard services to help their guests. The beach accommodations were very comfortable with plush lounge chairs. The included breakfast had authentic fresh items and mostly locally grown. The rooms are very clean and fully stocked.

Beautiful place to wake up each morning. Beach just a few steps away with plenty of affordable taverns right on the beach to explore for lunch each day. The whole area gives a very local feel and flavor. Breakfast made by the owners each morning was amazing.

We had a great stay at Glaronissi. The location near the beachfront is excellent and the staff is helpful. It is quite close to a bus stop that takes you right to the town centre as well as to many beaches along the coast, while managing to be slightly more secluded than most beachfront locations. Our room was a bit smaller than expected but met our needs and the sea view was beautiful. We were provided with beach towels and assistance booking a transfer to and from the port.

The thing to understand about this place is that they have essentially two separate accommodations - the ‘suites’ and the ‘apartments’. This is not apparent and misleading. The ‘suites’ are new stylish units that are advertised in most of the photos you see. These are no more than a couple of years old or less. They have a nice garden and are right beside the beach. They no doubt look great and appear to be a good value. The ‘apartments’ are probably ~40 years older and very rustic/outdated. They are set further back from the beach and you can see the ocean a little, but the view is mainly of the back of a restaurant. There are few photos of these and they are not significantly cheaper (~10-20€). Since you typically do not have to investigate if a hotel has 1 really old version and 1 new version of their rooms you assume the less expensive rooms will be relative with the photos all over the website. This should really be two different hotels. The staff was friendly enough and the the location was nice, but the room was not what was expected for the reasons above. Book the ‘suites’, avoid the ‘apartments’.

We stayed here for a relaxing couple of days on our island hopping holiday but got so much more. The Hotel is set back about 50m from the road and the Glaronissi Restaurant (No affiliation to the Hotel) and surrounded by fields. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the beautiful beach at the front, and within walking distance from excellent cocktail bars & restaurants. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Betty as if we were family come to visit. Check-in was quick and painless and we were shown to our room which was the Superior Apartment with Sea View. The hotel has 2 buildings, a new, more expensive one and an older, more rustic one. We stayed in the older building, the room was basic but spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and had an old style authentic charm. Facilities included a kettle, extending clothes airer, good storage space, plenty of utensils & a modern, clean bathroom but no safe. Our wardrobe was lockable so we improvised by using this to lock away our valuables. The room opened onto the balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields with Betty’s beautiful horses and the sea beyond. It had a table and chairs that we used in the evening when we returned. The free WIFI was basic speed as most places we’d visited. Breakfast was good with local Naxian Yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, eggs, & much more. Betty, her family & the wonderful staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. We would definitely return.

Fantastic sea view room. Beautifully decorated, modern amenities, private (to your neighbours) balcony, great breakfast. Betty, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. We will book up early for next year as Glaronissi will be busy with the new renovations. Thank you Betty.
