It's a decent hotel, however no air conditioner, there was hot water but there was trick to getting it to work, breakfast was good.

the hotel is clean but it looks and feels old, the rooms are very small and smell like sewer. My room didn't have AC, hair dryer, iron, safetybox, frige or ice maker. The hotel is within walking distance to Estadio Nemesio Diez, the city center and a few stores. I would not recommend this hotel unless its an emergency or if you are only staying for a day or two max.

We arrived early from a long trip and were not allowed to check in until 3 pm. The staff when attempting to check in the second time were much friendlier and did let us check in 10 min early. The rooms did not have air conditioners and the small windows did not provide much ventilation. We did not have any type of soap in the shower nor hot water. We could not get the TV to function. Luckily we had purchased two rooms and the other did have a working TV, soaps in the shower and hot water. When we got back the morning of checkout we found all of our towels missing and my daughter who had been out to practice was not able to shower. The cleaning lady final came back with a towel 15 min before check out but it was too late as we had already packed all of our bags. Our rooms needed upgrades of furniture and ventilation.

Great location, and the building felt safe and was quiet. The decor was sparse, however, almost to the point of being absent. Minimalism is fine. Not caring, which seemed to be the case here, is a different story.

I wanted to stay in a hotel close to downtown Toluca so I could walk to the main attractions. The hotel fulfilled this goal. However, it could have been much better. When we came in, we were sent to a room that was not cleaned yet. We had to go back to the lobby and get another room. Receptionist only gave us the key and the TV control. We came back late that night and the TV didn’t have many options and I couldn’t connect to the internet. Well, I asked next day about those things and reception printed out a paper with information about internet and TV service. Also, heat was bad the days we stayed (rooms do not have climate). So I have to ask again about what to do and then, they told me a fan could be borrow. I don’t know why I had to ask for those services, I would have wanted that the reception team was proactive on the needs of the customers. They are not customer oriented. And that it’s the major reason I gave them a 3 star rating overall. Hope they improve.

Great location. No fridge. They discontinued the intrrnet service early in the evening. By the way, expedia only reserves the room and yu must pay when you get there. I didn't know that and it caus3d me much confusion

I chose this hotel because I wanted to be close to the centre of town, it had adequate ratings (generally over 8 & proudly displayed in reception), and was offering a significant discount from its standard price. I made a grave mistake. The hotel is like a time warp back to the 1960s. The place has not been renovated for decades. My room was ancient with old decorations, carpets and furniture. The windows are single glazed with a poorly fitting sliding opening so, given there is no heating in the rooms, it was very cold overnight because nights are cold in Toluca due to the altitude (certainly in November). The bedspreads (no duvets here) were dirty and threadbare the sheets were well used and the towels were old, sometimes with holes or frayed edges. The bathroom (again ~1960s),was dirty with mould on the grout and celling - hardly surprising with no extractor fan or window and the water kept running after the toilet was flushed as there was a faulty flushing mechanism. Service at the front desk was minimal and whilst a breakfast (small choice), was available in a 'restaurant' area it was at an extra charge as it appeared to be run as a separate business (you could drop a tip into a canister by the till but before I reached the exit from the 'restaurant (~20 metres), I heard them opening the tin to retrieve the cash. There is absolutely nothing to recommend about this hotel and the selection in Toluca includes plenty of modern hotels (though not so many in the centre).

Location is a block from the busy arches in the historic center but is more peaceful. Our room faced the street but was quiet at night. Carpet was new, bed was comfortable, bedding was nice. There was a small place to hang clothes and 3 large drawers. Tile and condition of the bathroom was good with an odd window for venting that looked into a space between rooms and some water pipes. Hand and bath soaps were in dispensers on the wall with bottles of lotion and mouth wash. The shower was just lukewarm for me, better for my husband. Drinking water, hot and cold, was on the floor near the elevator with paper cone cups plus one plastic cup provided in the room. Front desk and cleaning staff were cheery and helpful.
