    The hotel is strategic as it’s near the hot spring area. There is complimentary afternoon tea, breakfast (individual set) and hot spring water inside the bath tub. It’s clean and comfortable. The room can be bigger but it’s fine for 2 person. The bed is big and confortable

    Location is Perfect Close To Everything.... Easy to reach from Taipei via Public Transport Decent Sized Room, Fantastic Hotspring Tub Set Breakfast and High Tea on Arrival

    I stayed at the Deyang branch from 17 to 20 October, 3 nights across two rooms (Elite Double and Duplex Suite), paying over SGD 900. This was some of the worst hospitality I've received anywhere in Asia. I've always found Taiwanese hospitality warm and generous, which makes this stay a sad exception. No hospitality. Staff watched us struggle with our luggage and never offered help. The entrance ramp was folded up, leaving a few stairs, and the response was to point and tell us to carry everything up ourselves. The front desk is well staffed, yet no one did anything proactively beyond saying hello and goodbye. No suggestions for things to do or places to eat, nothing. Poor front desk training. The staff member who checked us in, ***, was cold and offered no warmth in her explanations. When we asked for an earlier breakfast because of an early start, the answer was "no." When we asked for takeaway, again "no." No reason, no alternative. Even with restrictions, staff should be trained to handle guests with basic courtesy. Her service attitude was a 0 out of 10. No housekeeping. Over 3 nights, our rooms were never made up. Only towels were refilled. When I called, I was told the default is no make-up unless a sign is hung, which was never explained at check-in. Make-up should be the default, with the sign for opting out. Towels and cleanliness. On day 2 they ran out of small towels and offered only large ones. On day 3 we got just 4 large towels and no face towels. The sofa was dirty, with visible dirt underneath. The "hot spring" tub was just a dirty tub of hot water. To anyone booking: the photos look lovely, but the reality doesn't match the pictures or the price. For this money, you can find far better service, cleanliness and warmth elsewhere in Yilan. I'm leaving one star across all platforms and would not return or recommend.
