We stayed twice. Dipak and Babu are very nice hosts and I would highly recommend staying with them. The rooms are simple but comfortable. There is always hot water and a nice area to just hang out. My son and I enjoyed the area, as we were walking distance to OR2K and all the hub if we wanted but had quiet to come back to.

A really comfortable, cheap and nice hostel in the heart of Thamel. A very helpful staffs too. Really recommend Andes Hostel.

Food was good, people are friendly and helpful. Rooms are well kept. Off the main street so not a lot of traffic noise.
