The room was clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant sea view over the rooftops. The staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and provided between 630am and 1030am. I enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Stayed at Hotel Afric Casbah at either end of a week-long trip to Algeria. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Benefitted from a sea view. Very handy to the Metro station and a straightforward walk into the centre of town. Convenience store across the road. Recommended.

Afric Hotel is well located with the casbah and metro in walking distance. The staff is really friendly and helpful and speaks English.
For Algiers it might be your best budget option near the casbah, but in Algeria it was my most expensive accommodation and the rooms and breakfast were the most basic/outdated. The rooms really need some love and attention. Expect a small bathroom where everything will get wet when you shower. There is no lift so if you happen to stay on the 5th or 6th floor, you're in for some good exercise. :-)
