    Location, facilities, staff all good but the food is probably the worst I've ever had in a Spanish hotel. Based on this, I can't recommend it. 😔😳

    So many great things about Las Dalias. The pool areas are lovely (a beautiful adults only area too). It seemed like 85% of guests were out before 7.30am every morning towel-claiming their sunbeds (only to go out for the day and rock up at 3pm), which is a bit annoying. So some days it was a bit of a challenge to find a sunbed, but we usually managed to find a couple in the end in the over 18s area. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. No expense is spared (gamberinos, lobster, etc), masses of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and everything is top quality. Weirdly for an all-inclusive, the restaurant seemed calm and quite grown up - a minor miracle, in our experience, for an AI, and made for a more relaxing and enjoying mealtime experience. Costa Adeje is a commercial area along the same piece of coastline as Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. Loads of Brits, and a bit like "Blackpool on steroids", to quote another guest. Great for young people who love lots of retail, pubs/clubs, etc. The complex itself is quite chilled though with a selection of different bars and entertainments, so you can still have a relaxing holiday even though it's in a busy area. The room was fine - we have been spoiled for holidays lately and had suites which include a lounge, dining and kitchen area, large patio (rather than smallish balcony), so we weren't overly wowed on arrival; however, our balcony was great for evening sun, and the room and bathroom weren't bad (furniture a little tired). Bring a travel kettle if you like a cuppa first thing. There's a fridge in the room for milk, water, etc. The entertainment (outside) was better than many places we're stayed in. We tended to watch it from our balcony, as seats were hard to come by and it was a little chilly some evenings. Lots of tribute acts - we saw 'Tina Turner', 'Beat-less', 'Freddy Mercury'. We stopped by the lounge bar one evening (live music every night), but it was a quite crowded and very noisy, so we opted out - great if you like the buzz and bustle though. Staff were pretty good. Weather not too bad for March (a couple of cloudy days, but the sun is very strong when it's out). Iberostar are getting a lot of things right. The food was the best bit, along with the outside areas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place in a busy area. Thanks to all involved in making our stay an enjoyable one.
