    The room has a stunning view but its location is a little far from things (maybe 17 min walk to the green line mrt) Deco also seems a little dated Overall a pleasant stay

    It is our first time to stay at this hotel and we were surprised by the spacious bedroom with large sofa. Happy to stay in the hotel.

    My towel has got some stains. Should improve cleanliness. Breakfast is nice and we got plenty of choices. Location is good but it is located uphills so not convenient for heavy luggages— recommended to take Uber if carrying big luggages

    The staffs (front desk, cleaners, breakfast staff, etc) deserves super five stars ratings. Polite and always trying their best to attend to and to overcome the sad state some of the rooms are. The hotel badly needs an overhaul. Hence the lower ratings. The rooms rank from terrible to quite exceptional good value for money, and a few are in very good condition. It all depends on which floor u r at. I was given 901 when I got in. Old, moldy, dim lights, worn out carpet, rusted edges etc. That said when I ran my fingers over window ledges table surfaces it was very clean. The staff did a great job despite the terrible state of the room 901. Just unacceptably dark and dank musky. I ask for a change immediately and was given 1001. Was way better, brightly lit, less worn out but still moldy and there’s a seweragy smell in the bathroom. The staff help me with some bleach in the drain hole and said he will send a dehumidifier up tomw. Things improved by day two. A large part of the smell problems etc were gone. By day four there were no more seweragy smell. The dankness was largely removed w the humidifier. Ask for it. It’s a must. Keep the bathroom door open so it doesn’t trap moisture. In the meantime I managed to get to see the other rooms on the other floors. If ure gonna book this hotel, make sure it’s on Floor 10 & 11 (Similar ok above average to good condition), floor 12 & 13 (better!) and floor 14 (the best!). Do not book any rooms 9th floor and below. I like the breakfast cos I like Taiwan porridge. Range is ok. The Chinese style stirred fried vegetables are excellent! The egg dishes (changes daily, tomato egg, steam egg, etc) is tops too. Free laundry on 14th floor (2 washers, 3 dryers). Detergent powder provided. It’s abt 11min walk to xindian mrt. Lots of eateries, shops around. Bitan is a tourist scenic spot with weekend crowds. But everything winds down at 9pm. So nights are peaceful quiet. None of the mad raves full moon party bs. The river jog tracks and parks are fantastic! Lots of open spaces and greens. The rooms facing the river has great views.
