    I was in the area hiking for the day and had a one night stop over and stayed in the Lakes. The rooms were recently renovated and as I entered the first thing I felt was the underfloor heating warming my cold feet. The room has a heat pump and large mounted heater, which was perfect on a cold night. The bathroom was renovated to a higher standard and had some lively fresh towels. The bed was comfortable and I had a very pleasant night sleep. I will most definitely stay again.

    Was greatly surprised with the room size. Our room was very modern and has a kitchenette area for cooking. Bed was super comfy. Walking distances to town centre. Would recommend staying here.

    The room assigned to us reeked of rancid oil the moment we opened the door. Even after opening the front and back doors to ventilate the space on a freezing winter evening, the strong odor persisted. Because of this, we immediately requested a room change without touching anything inside.Initially, the landlady claimed the property was fully booked. However, when I mentioned I had just helped other guests book rooms as a translator, she shifted her excuse and blamed the smell on previous guests cooking in the room.After making us wait for a long time, the hosts finally discussed it and moved us to an odor-free room. The landlady repeatedly told us not to cook in the room. While we had no intention of cooking anyway, I found it strange that the room featured a stove, microwave, countertop, and sink—yet no range hood—if cooking wasn't preferred.
