The hotel lacked air conditioning. The restaurant across the road was closed and the hotel bar had very limited stock, no wine in France!!

Very tired hotel in need of re-furbishment and a lot of TLC. Unlike other Campaniles we’ve stayed in, there was no tea/coffee or kettle in the room, nor hairdryer. The toilet seat was not secured to its bowl. Despite advertising its wi-fi service, we were advised by the manager that none was available ( I needed to use it for business reasons- very frustrating) Breakfast was a mere shadow of what we have been used to in Campaniles, in the past. Poor value for money. The good parts - Staff as friendly as they could be, under the circumstances, and very comfortable bed.

We find this hotel a little in need of modernisation. Rooms very shabby and certainly could do with updating. Our shower was broken in the first room they gave us and although we were given another room don,t think they were happy about us changing. Good place to eat though across the road Poivre Rouge had nice meal.

Although hotel dated, it’s an older Campanile, the room was clean, the bed linen and towels freshly laundered and very white. Buffet entrees, desserts and breakfast excellent although some main courses weren’t available. Staff very friendly and efficient.

The rooms were clean, the food at the restaurant was good. The staff were polite and helpful. But the weather was just starting to turn hot and the aircon was spewing out hot air. I had to sleep with the door open to let in cool air at night while my companion bought an electric fan to cool his room. We booked 4 rooms for two weeks in June but now we're having second thoughts about staying there during the summer.
