Room is clean and comfortable. There us no front desk and we got access code via WhatsApp
There is a mini mart next to it where we can buy water and fruits.
Lots of tapas bars, bakery, shops around this area. 23 minutes walk to Guggenheim museum. It is a fun walk along the river. We got up as early as 7:00am so that we can arrive at Gatztelugatxe without reservation before the staff starts work. It worked well.

Great hotel, easy online check in. Everything was great. I would definitely stay again. The noise proofing from the street is fantastic, couldn’t hear anything from outside. There is a shared kitchen and the sound from the other guests was noticeable. Another guest was sick and hacking and coughing in the kitchen for a while, which was unfortunate but not a big deal. Overall, it was a great stay.
