The hotel was well kept inside and out. Beds and room were comfortable. Pool area w jacuzzis were very good. My wife and I really liked our stay there.

Room was old and in somewhat poor condition. The woman who checked us in didn’t provide robes and they weren’t in the room - It’s a hot spring and the reason while we booked. When we went back downstairs to ask, the front desk woman was too busy having a personal conversation to be interrupted. That said, the housekeeping staff were constantly cleaning and working hard.

Nice warm swimming pool as well as two large soaking tubs with different temperatures. Comfortable room and quiet surroundings. Really liked the fruit infused water and tea and coffee available by the office. Friendly staff. Free bikes available, that we used to get around town. (helmets also given out with them!)

My husband and I have stayed at Golden Haven Spa well over 20 times, and it’s one of our favorite places to stay in the Calistoga area. This small, family-run hotel is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The thermal water is wonderful, and the lovely grounds in the back make it a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my parents 40th anniversary! The entire staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and affordable, and our spa experience was perfect. Special shout out to Melissa who was our mud bath attendant and was such a pro! My parents enjoyed their massages as well! The amenities were also great with games, the pools and even bikes. Considering the crazy price increases in Calistoga this place gives you a lot of bang for your buck and I definitely recommend staying here!

The staff were great. We didn’t expect much from the hotel stay but it exceeded our expectations! The bed was comfortable, room was spacious and quiet. The TV had streaming options and cable. We got a room with the mineral tub. It filled quickly and the water was nice and hot! We usually do resort style hotels but took a chance on this place since it was only for one night. Glad we did because it was a gem. We walked to town for dinner and breakfast the next day. Nice stay.

I recently spent three nights at Golden Haven Spa and Resort in Calistoga. This family owned spot is a jewel and was an incredible find. The room that I stayed in was spacious, well appointed and very clean with thoughtful amenities. The staff is very polite, helpful, friendly, and a joy to interact with. Golden Haven is within walking distance of coffee, shops, restaurants and Calistoga’s downtown area. That said, I left my car parked in their spacious parking lot and walked to most places. While staying at Golden Haven, I scheduled both a full body scrub and a massage. Both services were fantastic. I can’t say enough about this little gem of a resort and will definitely stay there again when I’m in Calistoga.
