Great vibes and decor, friendly staff. Only one thing is that there is a lot of smoking at night in the lobby area, since it's a bar.

This review is long overdue, but I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It was clean and cozy. Staff was friendly. Within walking distance from shops, restaurants, and the TCM center - if you're into holistic medicine.

I booked a private room and the price was really reasonable, both the bar downstairs and the hotel is very clean and the staff are professional and friendly.
I actually was so impressed with the hotel and staff, I extended my stay at Sonderia twice.
Thank you to Nicole for helping me when I had trouble with the door code and also helping me decide which room to choose. She is always smiling and attentive whenever I walk past.
Out of all the hotels I stayed in Chengdu, this was my favourite!

This was a decent hotel to stay for 3 nights in Chengdu. The staff were really nice and helpful. The location is fine. The rooms are clean and comfy. Also the bar down stairs is very popular.
