Great location, across the street from Mirador Sur Park. Clean room, gym, pool. Breakfast was appetizing, well-prepared, and available at a reasonable cost. Staff was exceptionally attentive and eager to please.

When I checked in I had the "team leader, trainer" check me in. Her name was ***. She was unsmiling, abrupt and she made it clear her job was to take as much money from me as possible. I don't think hostile is too dramatic of a description. She tried 3 different times to upsell me for lunch and dinner when I checked in. My room had no bath tub (despite being on the executive floor) and she informed if I wanted a tub it would cost me an additional $90 for two nights. The employees here watch every move you make. I couldn't find the toilet at the pool, and when I went upstairs I was told by the man on watch duty I was not dressed appropriately. You can't so much as get ice from the machine without your room card. There needs to be a management shake-up here.

The moment I saw the day manager Maria I was disappointed. She was unsmiling and had an attitude of a frustrated and angry high school teacher who can't be fired. It was immediately clear her primary job was to extract as much of my money as quickly as possible. I told her I needed a tub in my room, which was almost $100.00 more and then she tried to high pressure upsell me on breakfast, lunch and dinner several times. She never once greeted me and never once smiled but was sullen. The people of the R.D. usually have such such sunshiny attitudes, but not this girl . Not a good vacation starter.
