🍇We really enjoyed our stay at Johannishof. The hotel is spread across three buildings: the main building with the restaurant, Building 26 with rooms and the sauna, and another building across the street. The private sauna was a highlight—€30 for 1–2 people, and free by prior arrangement between 12:00–19:00, which was wonderful. Free parking. Just a few minutes to Trier and about 25 minutes to Luxenbourg. The wine tasting experience was excellent and very welcoming, even for non–wine experts, and the wine vending machine was a fun touch. Dinner was very good, and breakfast included yogurt, cream cheese, breads, and meats. We stayed in the Kerner Room (303), perfect for a family of three, with a sunroom, extra sofa bed, and doors opening to a yard with a swing. Note: no kettle or in-room coffee. Warm hospitality, great wine, and a relaxing stay—highly recommended.

We were conveniently located to Trier. The owner was very friendly and willing to give advice. Extensive wine list! We arrived late and staff was willing to round up some food in the kitchen for us. Highly recommend and will be returning. I recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, a “body wash- shampoo- conditioner” combo was provided but I prefer separate products.

I'm a photojournalist and I was there for Tour de Luxembourg!!! It was one night, but immediately I felt in love!!! The food was delicious and a very nice breakfast!!!

Adorable, clean, modern, spacious. This little hotel is a diamond (but not in the rough... in the beautiful countryside along the Mosel river). My family of 6 adults stayed here on the way from Luxembourg to Munich and it could not have been more perfect. We ate in the restaurant and it was the best meal on our journey thus far.

We really enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms look better in person than their pictures posted here. The hotel was either newly built or just remodeled. Very modern finishes and clean. They bed was decent, but beds are difficult to judge comfort since everyone prefers different firmness. The restaurant served good food and wine. The breakfast was good, but a little pricey for what you get. Close to Trier, but you’ll definitely need a car if you stay here. The location was nice for us, but there isn’t anything useful around. That said, we were very pleased with the accommodations, the staff, and our stay.
