    There was no electricity when we arrived. This was meant to be a special weekend away , but the plans were disrupted again on Saturday morning when we woke up to another power outage. It’s unbelievable that such a large and well-established estate doesn’t have a backup generator. Although we tried to be patient and understanding, it really affected our experience. What truly ruined the stay, however, was the way we were treated on Sunday. We received numerous calls reminding us that we had passed check-out time, which felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve stayed in many hotels before and have never been treated in such a manner. Overall, the poor communication, lack of backup power, and unprofessional attitude left a very bad impression. I expected much better from a place with San Lameer’s reputation

    The place was peaceful and situated in a beautiful location. The problems I had was I could not sleep because the bedroom switches was faulty and light was not switching off, the room had a damp smell but the room looked clean, the desert I ordered at 9pm was spoilt and I had to exchange it. Overall a okay stay but not worth R1600 a night
