This is an old-style Japanese hotel with a luxurious dining area. The onsen stay includes a set dining meal. The food was decent, but not everything felt fresh, and the hype from some reviews seemed a bit exaggerated. I wish the soaking tub had been located outdoors on a deck, like in some other onsen hotels in Japan. The futon mattresses were quite thin, which made sleeping uncomfortable.
