Perfect location for a stopover in Saarbrücken. Only some 5 minutes away by foot from the city's main shopping area it offers free parking and low room rates. The rooms are clean and quiet.

Parking was full and not even places at the street. Hotel is average and ok for a one night stop. Note that it is loud especially if windows are open as its next to a big train station.

The Saarbrucken B and B gives you a great view of the railway tracks if you are on that side of the hotel. But the noise did not bother me, even with the window open. It was surprisingly quiet most of the night except for a few huge freight trains. My room and bathroom were always kept clean and tidy. The room had all the basics, except for a proper enclosed wardrobe. I would have really liked that as opposed to the open rail with three hangers. The buffet breakfast was fine, with a good choice of cereals, fruit, meats, yoghurt, etc. And the location was great. Five minutes walk to the north end of the rail station central underpass. Less than ten minutes to the bus and tram stops at the south end. Less than twelve minutes to the major shops.
