Hotel offers a reprieve from the cold Baltic weather typical of Ruegen in January - inclusive of excellent dining, pool, spa. Heating in room worked flawlessly in the background.

Great hotel, fantastic views, excellent spa facilities. Room excellent - spacious with cooking facilities in the private hall rather than the bedroom itself so you do not need to sleep with stale cooking smells. Very well equipped, though in summer the lack of air con may be a factor. Only downside was the pillows (though that and the lack of air con seems to be a common problem in hotels in Germany).
